Robert Herstine Obituary
From Baltimore Maryland, Tony attended Prospect Hall High School and later The College of Charleston and The University of South Carolina School of Medicine. He worked as a nurse anesthetist at Trident Regional Medical Center, Prisma Health and MUSC Providence. Tony was a member of the Palmetto Gun Club and Mid Carolina Gun Club.
He is proceeded in death by his father, Robert Joseph Herstine, and his mother Barbara Ann Herstine. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Shaw Herstine, daughter Katelyn Herstine Call and son Joshua Dane Call, Sr, and three grandchildren Joshua Dane Call, Jr., Elizabeth Ann Trezevant Call and Robert Pendleton Taylor Call, sisters Patrice Fletcher and Pamela Smith, brother Michael Allanson, as well as his nieces Aden Gardner and Amye Turner.
An intimate private family gathering will take place at Aberton Farm. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a United States Veteran organization of your choosing or Wounded Warriors. The family was assisted with these arrangements by the Ransford Funeral Home of Caro. Friends may share memories, thoughts, and prayers online at www.RansfordFuneralHome.com.

It seems like yesterday when I first met Tony in the operating room at the old Naval Hospital
He was a corpsman.Made an immediate impression worth his sense of humour and irreverence.and also his ability.
He was hard working,caring and devoted to his family.I was lucky to call him a friend.I know you will miss him Linda,my heart goes out to you
